Pain Away DIY Essential Oil Massage Oil Recipe

by Eira | Jan 30, 2019 | Spiritual Living & Everyday Practice | 0 comments

Long day? Tired body? This massage oil blends three essential oils we love, lavender, basil, and rosemary, into a warm, herbal scent made for slowing down. Rub it in as a small ritual of care at the end of the day.

Why These Three Oils?

Basil brings a spicy, warming scent that folk magic ties to protection and uplift. It sets a bright, energizing tone for your massage.

Lavender adds its soft floral calm. It has long been associated with peace, rest, and gentle self-love.

Rosemary is an ancient, sacred herb long associated with remembrance, purification, and strength.
Each oil in this blend adds its own note, and together they make a massage that feels like a warm, herbal exhale.

Massage Oil Ingredients

Massage Oil Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to the amber bottle and shake to mix well.
  2. Take about 1 teaspoon of oil and massage into irritated muscles.

As with all home remedies, you should always consult your doctor before adding this to your regimen. We also recommend doing a patch test to make sure that your body plays well with the ingredients.
