What is Eucalyptus Essential Oil?
Eucalyptus essential oil is a natural oil that is extracted directly from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree. The natural oil, or essential oil, contains the compounds eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol. These active ingredients work with your body to achieve good health.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil Uses and Benefits
1. Clear stuffy noses with a personal aromatherapy inhaler.
This natural remedy helps you get the benefits of vaporub without the goop on your upper lip! Simply add 10 drops of essential oil to a small, glass vial of coarse pink Himalayan sea salt! Close, shake, open, and breathe!
This inhaler also speeds up the recovery time of colds and flu, due to the antiviral and antibacterial qualities of eucalyptus oil.
2. Relax an exhausted body with a eucalyptus aromatherapy shower.
Step into your warm, steamy shower. Drop 2-5 drops of essential oil into the tub, away from direct water streams, and breathe. The warm water will gently evaporate the oil, allowing you to breathe in the cooling vapors.
3. Create your own, natural Vapor Rub.
Add 20 drops of eucalyptus oil to ¼ c. of your favorite carrier oil. Mix well, and rub into your chest, feet, and below your nose before bedtime. You can also add a mix of peppermint and rosemary essential oils to this mix. Store this in a dark bottle in a cool, dark area.

Add 15 drops of eucalyptus oil to 1 ounce of sweet almond oil or olive oil. Massage into your muscles and just relax.
