Q1: Are you a City or Country Witch? What are some advantages + disadvantages?

- “City. You don’t get as much nature unless you hunt for it, but you’re around others that practice if you can find them. Nice to have a group” @tristar1693

Q2: Do you feel that you have everything you need to practice as a Witch in your area?

- “All I really need are access to my energy and elemental/ technological energies.” @BreakdownGraphx
- “Wish I had better access to metaphysical stores. My nearest one doesn’t have a great selection of reading material.” @madrabanrion
- “I don’t use many things to practice. I’ve got an altar, but at its core, what I do is just me, energy, and the powers that be.” @tristar1693

Q3: Celebrities, major brand stores, and the media have started endorsing Wicca and Witchcraft. Is this appropriation?

- “I feel like it can be, sometimes. Some magickal practices have definitely been appropriated! Smudging and hoodoo/voodoo come to mind” @FatFeministWitch
- “I am not sure it’s appropriation exactly, but it is capitalism, which is just as bad.” @madrabanrion
- “Unfortunately, the most representation i’ve seen us get, is more of a fashion statement to the people than a way of life or religion” @withinwicca
Q4: How afraid of future “Witch Hunts” does mass exposure of Witchcraft make you feel?

- “I will admit that if trump decides to make witchcraft an issue things could get scary and some could lose their rights though” @FatFeministWitch
- “Not very. Thanks to Social Media and The Freedom of Religion act popping groups up everywhere…We outnumber them now.” @BreakdownGraphx
- “I am still closeted. I have no intention of coming out anytime soon. Emotions and tensions have been too high in the past year.”

Q5: On a lighter note, does public exposure make it easier to practice and balance Wicca + Life?

- “When I was younger yes. Now I just don’t give AF. My practices are daily & I walk my witchy path without hesitation or regret.” @wickedwitch1987
- “Yes, for me, for the most part. Still lots of “shoulds” out there that cause self-doubt, but I am more accepting of myself than before.” @madrabanrion
- “none of this affects me nor effects me 🙂 I just do my thing. If someone in public asks me what are you doing I say I’m praying ty.” @Elisasspot
- “Sort of. It makes it easier to find others and talk about things, but for me, practicing is mostly personal these days.” @tristar1693
- “I think it’s unlikely so i don’t worry abt it though recently I get more negative responses irl from ppl when I’ve mentioned Wicca.” @autisticwitchy
Q6: Would you say that this decade has been the easiest to practice Wicca? Why?

- “I say yes, supernatural movies & shows are so common now & people are becoming more exposed to that sort of stuff, they are more accepting” @spookycammie
- “Easiest for me, but Idk if that is because of the opening of society or my “I don’t give a fuck anymore” attitude that came with aging.” @madrabanrion
