How To Create Your Gratitude Jar
Recycle a jar.

Choose a jar that can hold a month’s worth of paper notes. We love a jelly jar, mason jar, or a pasta sauce jar for this!
Decorate your jar.

Turn your jar into a sacred object. Wrap it with ribbon, add moon or heart stickers, or tie a sigil onto the lid. You’re turning this everyday item into a container for light.
Daily gratitude drop.

Each day, write down one specific thing you’re thankful for. It could be a compliment you received, a moment of peace, a laugh with your child, or how strong you felt setting a boundary. Nothing is too small to count.
Feel it as you write.
Don’t rush it. Take a deep breath and feel the joy or comfort of the moment you’re writing about. The more you feel it, the more powerful it becomes.
Revisit when needed.
On the first of each month, or anytime your sparkle dims, pull out your notes and re-read them. Let that love flow back to you.
Reset + refresh.

Start a new jar each month, or let this one fill up over time. You can also burn or bury your notes in a full moon ritual to release and renew.
Supply:
- 1 large mason jar (or any recycled container)
- Paper (cut or torn into strips)
- Pen or markers
- Decorations: ribbon, glitter, stickers, crystals. Make it so you.

Here’s what our gratitude jar looks like!

We went with a classic diamond mason jar.
The lid is actually just part of the full lid, leaving the top portion open for ease of dropping in those good vibes.
I love color coordination, especially as it correlates to psychology and magic theory; here, I opted for purple, as it helps me better align with my higher self. For me, this color is purple with shimmers, representing cosmic stars.

🌿 Spiritual Tips To Pair With Your Gratitude Jar Tutorial
On hard days when your mind goes blank, try beginning with: “I’m grateful for…” Even if all you can think of is your morning tea or a song that made you smile. The magic isn’t in the size of the gratitude; it’s in the reaching. That reaching is what shifts energy.
Need a little extra support? Pair your Gratitude Jar with a rose quartz crystal for self-love or a white candle for clarity. Keep glowing, magical soul. You’re doing beautifully. 💫
